Dason Dundas was allegedly killed by Shawn Jordan

– two others get more jail time for unlawful escape

Anthony Padmore  age 26yrs Of Ogle Street, Beterverwagting, East Coast Demerara, Sasenarine Bisnauth age 24yrs of lot 22 Tuschen Housing Scheme, East Bank Essequibo (EBE) and Ghanesh Dhanraj age 32yrs Of Facade Parika, EBE were arrested on May 1, 6 and 31, 2020 respectively by the Police and charged on September 17, 2020 with the offence of Escape from Lawful Custody contrary to section 339(b) of the Criminal Law Offences Act chapter 8:01.

They appeared before Her Worship  M. Mittelholzer  via Skye and the charge was read to them after which they all plead guilty. Padmore was then sentenced to two years imprisonment, whilst Dhanraj and Bisnauth were each sentenced to 21 months imprisonment.

Also on Thursday Shawn Jordan called Shawn or 5 minutes, age 22 years who is incarcerated at Lusignan Prison ‘B’ Holding Bay 2 was charged by the Police with the offence of Murder Contrary  to Common Law committed on Dason Dundas on April 21, 2020 at Lusignan Prison Holding Bay.

The accused appeared before Magistrate Mittelholzer via Skype and the charge was read to him where he was not required to plea and was remanded to prison.  Case postponed to October 19, 2020.
