As one of the founding members of the DDL Foundation’s Board of Directors, and with decades of experience in the education sector, Ms. Hamilton demonstrated a deep passion for working with the students in the DDL Foundation. The DDL Foundation, established in December 2010, is dedicated to the advancement of education for students. The Foundation operates two distinct scholarship programmes: one caters to students who have demonstrated excellence in the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA), while the other is tailored for young individuals seeking to pursue technical and vocational education, irrespective of their academic performance. Under these scholarship programmes, students receive valuable support to alleviate the financial burdens associated with attending school. This assistance encompasses essential needs such as textbooks, uniforms, transportation, and, in certain instances, meals.
