Alleged rape of Region One child under 16

Region One (Barima-Waini) has recorded yet another rape of a child under 16 years old. This incident allegedly occurred on March 13, 2021.

According to the police, the suspect has been arrested as police prepare to press charges.

About a week ago, the police announced the investigation of an alleged rape of a child under 16 years old which recently reported to the police.

The suspect was named by the victim after she was medically examined and found to be four months pregnant.
