On this proud occasion of Guyana’s 56th Republic Anniversary, the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) extends  heartfelt greetings to all Guyanese at home and in the diaspora.

February 23rd stands as a powerful reminder of our nation’s journey to full sovereignty and self determination. It is a day to honour the vision, courage, and sacrifices of our foreparents who fought  tirelessly to ensure that Guyana would stand as a proud Republic, governed by its own people and guided  by its own destiny.

As we commemorate this milestone, we celebrate the rich diversity that defines our nation and the unity  that continues to strengthen us. Guyana’s progress has always been built on the resilience, hard work, and aspirations of its citizens, and today we remain committed to building a country where every  Guyanese can share in opportunity, prosperity, and dignity.

The PPP reaffirms its unwavering dedication to safeguarding democracy, defending our national  sovereignty, advancing inclusive development, and ensuring that the benefits of our nation’s growth uplift  every community across our beautiful homeland.

On this Republic Anniversary, let us reflect on how far we have come and renew our collective pledge to  work together for a stronger, more united, and prosperous Guyana.

Happy 56th Republic Anniversary, Guyana.
