Ms. Douglas’s interest in forensic studies stems from her desire to contribute to Guyana’s judicial services by helping families of victims find justice. As a long-time follower of mystery and investigative narratives, her passion for the field is evident.

The U.S. Embassy in Guyana marked Ms. Douglas’s achievement with a luncheon hosted by Public Affairs Officer, Kelly McCray. The event provided an opportunity for Fulbright Foreign Student Program alumni Dr. Theodosius Velloza, Dr. Mohamad Sadik, Dr. Sondia Gordon, and Syracuse University graduate Enrico Woolford to share their U.S. study experiences and offer guidance to Ms. Douglas on her upcoming academic journey.
