GT&T, announcing the distribution on its Facebook, said the presentation forms part of the company’s promise to “Strengthen the Community” and its commitment to the technological development of Guyana. According to the company, supporting pupils with the technological tools will provide improved learning experience, and also forms part of the company’s drive to ensure more homes are reliably connected to the internet and provided with affordable mobile data.

The items were presented to students at the Guyana Chronicle’s headquarters, by  the company’s Senior Public Relations Manager, Jasmin Harris.
