Being pampered at a spa is no longer a leisure time activity limited to adults. Thanks to ‘Pamper Me Kids Spa,’ children can now enjoy the royal treatment of being spoiled and taken care of at the spa.
Pamper Me Kids Spa which is located Half Mile, Wismar, Linden offers child friendly pedicures, manicures and facials along with complimentary drinks and a surprise goodie bag.
The spa provides an indulging and fun experience for both boys and girls and is the perfect place for a calming but enjoyable birthday celebration or a routine self-care day treat.
Behind the creation of this new experience for children in the mining town is young entrepreneur, Taneila Croal.
In an interview with Village Voice News, the 28-year-oldwho first brought the ‘sip and paint’ business concept to Linden related that it was her likeness for thinking outside the box that led her to launch the spa for children in August 2021.
“I would always try to think out of the box and try new things and try to go away from common business ideas. I had first started the sip and paint for birthday parties here and then I wanted something else unique that will cater for kids so I decided that I will start a spa that will cater to kids because I knew there were only adult spas here in Linden,” she explained.
Croal stated that Pamper Me Kids Spa is the ideal destination to teach children about self-care at an early age. “I think it is a really good thing for children to learn about self-care and each child should experience what my spa has to offer, not just girls but boys too. This helps them to create that sense of proper hygiene, boost their confidence and be able to practice self-care at a young age,” she related.
The mother of one said that her spa has gotten an out pour of support from the Linden community since its launch which has contributed greatly to the success of the business.
Croal added that she fell in love with business although she has been a full time science teacher for five years. “I am a teacher but I have this passion to provide services that are lacking in our country and I think that is what actually propelled me into the field of business which I am loving.I really find that entrepreneurship is the way for me and I feel like working for someone else can limit you,” she noted.
Croal is encouraging aspiring entrepreneurs to take a leap of faith and turn their business ideas into reality. “Get out of your comfort zone, take that leap of faith, get out there and start your business. Once you start you must be persistent, you must not sleep on your idea, just go for it and trust the process,” she posited.
