john leads Ministry of Sport sponsored three stage cycle road race

Briton John was the overall leader after two stages of the Ministry of Sport sponsored, Guyana Cycling Federation 35th three-stage cycle road race yesterday.
John and Raynauth Jeffrey each won one leg of the two legs of the Independence Three-Stage road race held yesterday.
Going into today’s final leg, Briton John has a 12 second lead over second placed Paul de Nobrega.
Briton John, 21, won the first stage from  Corriverton to New Amsterdam to from some 48 starters.
He also placed fourth in the second stage from Rosignol to Georgetown which was won by Jeffrey.

DeNobrega placed third in both legs while Team Foundation’s Jamual John is in third place.

Shallow and Bassarath elected as President and Vice President of CWI

Linden’s Suzanna Hamilton won both legs of  the female category yesterday and should be the female winners since the females and juniors are not required to ride the final stage of today’s race.
