Police are investigating an alleged robbery under arms committed on Troy Hinds,  a 34-year-old construction worker of Sister’s Village, West Bank Demerara, and Natasha Mc Kenzie of Samatta Point, Grove, East Bank Demerara.

The pair was allegedly robbed of $65,000 cash, an iPhone and a Samung cellphone on Wednesday about 00:10 hours by six male suspects who were masked and reportedly armed with a gun and broken bottles. Enquiries revealed that the duo was at a party in Kaneville, E.B.D and subsequently left and while walking out of the village they were attacked by the six suspects. One of the suspects who was armed with a gun, reportedly placed it to the man’s neck and pushed him to the ground where he was relieved of his valuables. The suspect then placed the gun to the woman’s head and relieved her of her valuables as well. The suspects then made good their escape on foot in an unknown direction.
