Manager of  ACME found dead in office

The body of the general manager of ACME photo studio was  found on the premises of the business place Regent Street building Wednesday morning.

Police said in a release that 07:45 hrs the ranks  recieved a 911 call of a body lying in the ACME building at the corner of Regent and King Streets, Georgetown.

As a result the scene was visited on 2021-2-24 at about 07:50 hrs by police ranks. Investigations so far revealed that  the ACME building is a four storey concrete structure situated on the south- western side of Regent and King Streets,  facing north and has one main entrance to the western side, same is secured by a metal door with padlocks  externally.

The body of Sandra Dee-Barker, 54yrs, Manager of ACME General Store and of Parfaite Harmonie WBD, was found lying on the floor in her office located on the third floor of the said building.

The body was examined by EMT technicians and pronounced dead. The scene was processed and no marks of violence were seen neither were no signs of breakage found on the building.

The body was discovered by a 25 year-old colleague, and later identified by her brother Philip Barker of Caneview Avenue South Ruimveldt  Garden.

Information suggests that the deceased was last seen alive around 17:30 hrs on 2021.02.22.

The body is presently at the Lyken Funeral home awaiting port mortem.
