Armed bandits rob 18-year-old of jewelry, mobile phone, other gadgets

An 18-year-old of Clifford Avenue, Lamaha Springs was on Thursday robbed of a diamond ring, silver chain, silver band, one Samsung S7 Edge cell phone and a VR Head Gear during an armed robbery.

The value of the items are unknown.

According to Police, at about 04:40h at the said address to unidentifiable males one of whom was armed with a hand gun approached him. The armed perpetrator held him at gun point and demanded that he handed over his valuables.

The victim became fearful and handed over the articles mentioned, which were in his bedroom. The suspects then made good their escaped.

Investigations are in progress.
