Armed bandits relieve Wismar student of mobile phone

An 18-year-old student of Valley, Wismar, Linden (Region Ten) was on Monday relieved of a ZTE Android mobile phone valued $21,000 at about 22:00h at Fox Hill Foot, Half Mile, Wismar by two men armed with two guns.

According to reports, the victim said he and his friend were sitting at the corner of the street when the two men pounced on them, pointing the guns. They were told not to move and he was relieved of his mobile phone.

The victim’s friend threw his mobile device into the neighbor’s yard and one of the perpetrators dealt him several lashes with a gun to his back causing him several injuries.

The perpetrators made good their escape on foot with the one mobile device.

Investigations are ongoing.
