40-year-old Region Four woman latest COVID-19 fatality

The Ministry of Health (MOH) on Sunday reported the country’s 104th COVID-19 death.

The Ministry said the latest fatality is a 40-year-old woman from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica). The woman died  while receiving care.

On Sunday, Guyana recorded 64 new cases of the virus with 16 persons receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).  The total number of confirmed cases stands at 3469.
