Runda Emanuel, a 33-year-old housewife of Queenstown, Essequibo Coast, was on Wednesday, March 8  charged for the offence of Felonious Wounding committed on Sonya Moses, a 21-year-old housewife of Lot 118 Queenstown, Essequibo Coast.
The incident occurred on November 3 2022, at Queenstown. The charge was laid under Section 57(a) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 8:01.
Friday the accused appeared at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Esther Sam. She pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to her. The magistrate granted her $30,000 bail.
The case was postponed to April 4, 2023.
