Police investigating alleged sexual activity with child by family member

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) is investigating the alleged sexual activity with a child from Region One by a family member of the child which occurred between February 28 and March 1, 2021.

The matter was unearthed by the Child Protection Agency (CPA) and was reported to the police on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

The perpetrator, who has been accused of similar offences by others, has fled the area. Statements were taken and an investigation is ongoing.
