By Egland Gomes- Guyana, the success of our nation rests in the hands of the We Invest in Nationhood (WIN) Party leadership and supporters. Azruddin Mohamed has demonstrated that he is a true leader for all Guyanese. He needs us to unite against what I consider the evil of President Irfaan Ali and PPP corrupt politicians, who are weaponising the Guyana Police Force to frame him over a gun allegedly planted by Prem Narine, a police detail, after the Guyana Police Force Special Branch head attempted to assassinate the Leader of the Opposition for driving on the public roadway.

How many more Guyanese have to be executed under the despotic PPP regime, like the more than one thousand Guyanese, including PPP Agricultural Minister Sash Sawh? The PPP has lost its credibility as the party of Dr Cheddi Jagan and must be removed from office for the greater good of our nation.

They are squandering our national wealth through corruption and benefiting their friends and family while the nation lives in abject poverty, children go to bed hungry, and parents cannot afford to buy basic groceries for their families.

It’s time to stop the theft of our children’s future while the Irfaan Ali and Bharrat Jagdeo PPP creates multimillionaire ministers like President Irfaan Ali, who have no evidence of generational wealth.

Who will stand up against the corrupt government and ExxonMobil, which is raping our national wealth without the equitable distribution of wealth to the people? Azruddin Mohamed will, and that is why the corrupt government is trying to get rid of him.

Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) said:

“First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”

Let’s stop the evil and corrupt government’s abuse of power and executive lawlessness against the citizens of Guyana now. Join the protest in Georgetown and nationwide demonstrations until Azruddin Mohamed, Leader of the Opposition, and his staff are released from police custody now. The diabolical plan of the corrupt government must not be allowed to succeed, with external influence in our sovereign state.

Azruddin Mohamed is for the poor and all Guyanese. Let’s join the protests before it’s too late. Come out, bring a friend, and tell our neighbours it’s time to stop the PPP campaign against the Leader of the Opposition and the WIN Movement for change and prosperity now.
