For many young people, discovering a true passion and turning it into a thriving business takes a lifetime. However, for Ronelsa Daniels (also known as Amanda), a dedicated student at Parika/Salem Secondary School, East Bank Essequibo, Region 3, that journey has already began beautifully.
Daniels is the founder and creative force behind Amanda’s Blossom Bliss. This young entrepreneur is balancing her academic life while bringing joy to her community through stunning, handmade floral arrangements and personalized gifts.
Amanda’s journey is rooted in her lifelong love for flowers and creative crafts. While observing the local market, she noticed a growing desire for floral arrangements that offered a personal touch and longevity.
“I noticed that many people were looking for long-lasting and personalized bouquet options, so I decided to turn my passion into a business,” Amanda shares.
Her ultimate goal was clear: to provide timeless, beautiful arrangements that customers could cherish for years to come.
The official journey for Amanda’s Blossom Bliss began on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025. What started as crafting specialised festive bouquets for close friends and family quickly sparked wider interest.
Recognising the potential of her craft, Amanda began promoting her unique creations through social media and word of mouth. The response was highly encouraging. With every order she fulfilled, her skills sharpened, her product range expanded, and a loyal customer base began to take root.

For Amanda, the business has been a profound hands-on classroom, helping her gain invaluable entrepreneurial experience and confidence with each passing day.
Running a business while managing the daily responsibilities of being a secondary school student comes with its own unique set of hurdles. Amanda candidly notes that sourcing high-quality materials at affordable prices can be difficult. Additionally, juggling customer orders alongside schoolwork and other personal commitments requires immense discipline.
However, rather than letting these pressures overwhelm her, Amanda tackles them with maturity and strategic thinking. She overcomes these obstacles through careful budgeting, planning her schedule well in advance, and maintaining strict organisation.
Furthermore, she consistently dedicates time to learning new techniques to improve her efficiency and guarantee customer satisfaction.
Though her business is still in its early stages, running Amanda’s Blossom Bliss has already taught the young student essential life lessons about responsibility, creativity, and perseverance.
Looking back on her growth, Amanda has inspiring words of wisdom for fellow youth and aspiring young entrepreneurs: “Believe in your ideas and do not be afraid to start small,” she advises.
“Success takes time, patience, and hard work. Stay focused on your goals, be willing to learn from mistakes, and always provide excellent customer service. Consistency and determination are key to building a successful business.”
Deeply grateful for the unwavering support of her customers, friends, and family, Amanda looks forward to nurturing her business further, continuing to grow as a student entrepreneur, and bringing smiles to people’s faces, one beautiful creation at a time.
