With deep sadness, we mourn the passing of renowned academic and veteran communication specialist Karen Davis.

Today Guyana mourns the loss of a daughter of the soil Karen Davis.  Ms Davis earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and peers across the communication landscape. She was known not only for her sharp intellect and professional excellence, but also for the warmth, joy, and generosity of spirit that she brought to every interaction. Her humility and gentleness, even at the height of her influence, touched all who worked with her.

Karen’s contributions to both communication scholarship and industry practice have left an indelible mark. Her work continues to guide practitioners and students across generations, and her legacy will remain a reference point for excellence in the field.
