NewHayven Merchant Bank asserts status as an independent company

Release. In response to the Kaiteur News Editorial, on March 20, 2024, titled “US$25 Million Hayven Loan,” NewHayven Merchant Bank (NHMB) asserts its status as an independent company operating in the Merchant Banking space under licence from the Bank of Guyana. NHMB has no partnership or collaboration with the operations of VHE Consulting as suggested by the Kaieteur News Editorial. We are a separate business with completely different service offerings.

While Mr. Floyd Haynes, NHMB’s Founder and Chairman, is also a partner in VHE Consulting, NHMB maintains absolute autonomy from VHE Consulting’s business and services.

Mr. Haynes in his capacity as NHMB’s Chairman, consistently upholds the highest ethical standards and transparency in all his dealings. His extensive professional experience and qualifications enable him to significantly contribute to the economic growth and development of Guyana.

NHMB remains focused on providing quality financial services to our clients while upholding the integrity of our operations. We urge the public and media outlets to recognise the distinction between NHMB and VHE Consulting and refrain from conflating the two entities.
