The Enmore Regional Hospital has taken note of a social media post circulated by Mr. Abbass Zaheer alleging that the administration of injections caused three recent deaths at the hospital.

The Hospital wishes to state clearly that these claims are false, misleading, and unsubstantiated.

After being made aware of the allegations, the Hospital made direct contact with Mr. Zaheer to obtain further details regarding the reported incidents. However, he was unable to provide sufficient or verifiable information to support these claims. A comprehensive review of hospital records and relevant clinical cases has revealed no evidence to substantiate the assertions made or any indication that patient outcomes were related to the administration of injections.

The Enmore Regional Hospital is deeply concerned that the dissemination of unverified and inflammatory information can create unnecessary public anxiety, erode confidence in the healthcare system, and unfairly undermine the professionalism of healthcare workers who provide dedicated and compassionate care daily.

Patient safety remains our highest priority. All clinical care at the facility is conducted in accordance with established medical protocols, and the Hospital maintains robust monitoring and review mechanisms to ensure the highest standards of care.

The Hospital, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, urges members of the public to act responsibly when sharing information, particularly on matters relating to public health. The spread of inaccurate or unverified claims can cause undue distress to patients and families and disrupt the delivery of care.

We reaffirm our commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in healthcare delivery. Should any credible evidence arise indicating a deviation from accepted standards of care, it will be thoroughly investigated and addressed promptly.

Members of the public with legitimate concerns are encouraged to report them directly to the Enmore Regional Hospital or the Ministry of Health through official channels, where they can be appropriately reviewed.
