Three of dancehall’s current hottest acts—Masicka, Kranium, and Shaneil Muir—are set to make their return to Guyana this Saturday, 15th November, for the highly anticipated Premier International Music Festival. The event is being hosted by De Sheriff’s Entertainment, Dream Team Entertainment, and Team Rodney.

Masicka, a Jamaican dancehall deejay known for his punchy lyrical delivery and global appeal, rose to prominence with his debut album 438, which reached No. 2 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart. Kranium, a Jamaican-born, New York–based singer, gained international success with his 2013 breakout hit “Nobody Has to Know” and has since earned multiple chart-certified releases. Shaneil Muir is celebrated for her emotive vocals and genre-blending style, with her upcoming EP Echoes of Her set to explore themes of love, loss, and resilience.

The three promotion groups out of Linden have joined forces to bring together a dancehall show like no other. In addition to the Jamaican dancehall artistes, several Guyanese artistes will also grace the stage at the Providence Stadium, along with Super Ray and Stitchie One Man Bands and several local deejays.

According to Lincoln Zephyr, part of the organising team, Saturday’s event was well planned and will be well executed. He said patrons can expect a night of highly charged entertainment from the beginning of the show to the very end. De Sheriff’s Entertainment, Dream Team, and Team Rodney are known for hosting some of the best organised shows and events during Linden Town Week celebrations. The organisers have now decided to widen their reach and offer the rest of the country the same high-quality event that supporters have enjoyed over the years in Linden.

All of the international acts will be in Guyana by Friday and are expected to make radio and television appearances.

Zephyr also reminded patrons that a lucky ticket holder will drive home with a new Toyota Premio car. He encouraged everyone to get their tickets early and hold on to their stubs, as the drawing will be done on the same night. Tickets are available at various outlets across the country. The organising teams expressed gratitude to their list of sponsors for supporting the event.
