On Friday, August 22nd, you, the brave men and women of the Joint Services, will make a choice.

A choice about who truly stands with you, who understands your struggles, and who will fight for your families.

I have traveled across Guyana, and I have heard your voices. WIN has listened, and we are ready to act to improve your quality of life.

  • WIN will reduce the cost of house lots by 40 percent for all service members.
  • A grant of up to $700,000 to help you start the foundation for your homes.
  • Your house lot applications will receive the highest priority.
  • Utilities will be in place before approval letters are given.

We want to ease your burdens so that you could better serve this great nation.

It is appalling that in 2025 your travel, uniform, rent and special service allowances are so small and do not match the cost of living. This is no way to treat our serving men and women. WIN will significantly increase your allowances and reduce PAYE from 25 percent to 20 percent, putting more money in your hands.

Our actions will go further:

As you serve our country, putting your life on the line, we should ensure that your children and your spouses are considered. It is with that in mind that we will give

  • Each child will receive a $100,000 cash grant and provides free transportation to and from school.
  • A scaled salary increase of up to 50 percent.
  • Every service member will get a substantial monthly risk allowance.
  • Priority access to scholarships for your family.
  • And when injuries occur, compensation must never depend on favors. It must be guaranteed by law.
  • All your medical expenses and recovery support will be fully covered.
  • You will receive fair compensation as a right, not a favor.
  • The families of our service men will receive a death in Service compensation of $5 million dollars, far more than the meagre $1 million currently received.
  • Maternity leave will increase from 3 months to 4 months.
  • Station Sergeants’ will be given duty free allowance for vehicles of up to 2000 cc and Inspectors will be given duty free allowance for vehicles up to 2500 cc
  • We will ensure there is a significant increase in your committed overtime, and we will continue to give you your year-end bonus.

Your sacrifice keeps Guyana safe. Under WIN, you will be treated with the respect, dignity, and professionalism you deserve.

As the next President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, I have listened. I have recognized your sacrifice and service. You deserve better, and you will get what you deserve.

So, as you prepare to vote on Friday, August 22nd, remember this:

Together, we can build a Guyana where your service is valued, your families are supported, and your future is secure.

Vote WIN in 2025!

We will WIN Together.
