As we come together to celebrate, we must also recognize the ongoing struggles faced by our workers, including pensioners and the unemployed. The GTUC continues to stand firm in advocating for the rights of all citizens, especially those who are most vulnerable. We remain committed to fighting for equal rights, justice, and better working conditions for everyone, striving to improve the standard of living for all, regardless of age or employment status.
In a country that is rapidly developing and in a world where our economy is growing at an extraordinary pace, it is crucial that this progress benefits everyone. No worker, pensioner, or unemployed person should be left behind. Every individual deserves to live with dignity, and each person should be provided with the opportunity to contribute to society and receive fair compensation for their efforts.
The fight for better wages, improved benefits, and safer workplaces remains central to our mission.
