Mind Food International Limited (MFIL) is rapidly establishing itself as a leading force in corporate training and leadership development across the Caribbean. Founded in 2013 by Jamar and Natassia Wright, the Kingston, Jamaica-based company began as a small initiative, sending daily inspirational messages via email and Facebook to encourage personal growth. Today, it has evolved into a major consultancy offering comprehensive leadership training to some of the region’s largest organisations.

MFIL’s client roster includes prominent companies such as KPMG-JESS, Jamaica Library Services, Geddes Refrigeration, Real Auto, Superlative Auto, K&M Meats and Groceries, and Interlinc Group, as well as government entities like the Registrar General’s Department. In 2022, MFIL expanded its services to outsource staffing for HoneyBun Limited, managing a team of over 100 employees across various departments in need of contractual support.

In a recent statement issued by Mind Food International, the founders emphasised the crucial role of leadership training in organisational success. “Leadership training and development are vital components for any organisation that seeks progress and growth,” said Jamar and Natassia Wright. “A leader who refuses to grow has already stagnated the growth of their organisation. For any organisation to flourish, both the leader and the team members must strive for improvement. When a leader and their team members improve, the organization expands. Improvement leads to growth.”

Their approach to corporate training emphasises the importance of developing leadership skills at all levels of an organisation. As the Wrights put it, “The only thing worse than training your employees and having them leave is not training them and having them stay.” The company’s philosophy underscores the long-term benefits of investing in people, viewing employees as an organization’s most valuable resource.

With its motto, “Developing Leaders… Transforming Nations,” Mind Food International Limited continues to make waves throughout the Caribbean, working to equip businesses with the tools needed to nurture leadership, drive growth, and create positive, lasting change.
