Chartered Accountant and Attorney Christopher Ram’s SURVEY indicating an overwhelming 94% of the people wanting RENEGOTIATIONS of the STABROEK BLOCK Production Sharing Agreement (PSA), and the daily commentaries that followed have put the Government in a state of utter confusion and madness undermining the most consequential issue facing our nation.
Upon taking office, the SECOND VP and cohort Nandlall suddenly became inseminated with religion about “SANCTITY OF CONTRACT” and “RULE of LAW” to BAMBOOZLE and COVER-UP their PROTECTION OF EXXON while leaving GUYANA DEFENSELESS and to GOD’s MERCY.
Maybe an INVESTIGATION  is WARRANTED  to find out what brought about such a monumental Judas-like CHANGE OF HEART after the  2020 ELECTIONS ???.
Nevertheless, despite their deluded belief that Guyanese are fools, all are very much aware of the “SANCITY” of Clause 32.1 of the PSA enshrining that changes cannot be made without “consent” of Exxon.
The learned AG and the Honorary Doctor the SECOND VP should at least possess the FACULTY TO GRASP that in order to have “CONSENT” from Exxon, Guyana has to first seek that “CONSENT.” In other words, to educate BOTH gentlemen, “CONSENT” cannot be given by Exxon without a request for that “CONSENT” from the Government.
In stark contrast, all of the Opposition parties, APNU, AFC and WPA are on record giving their full-throated commitment to renegotiations.

KN.  Nov 27, 2024.   “To date, ExxonMobil has produced over 500 million barrels of oil since production activities commenced in December 2019. It should be noted that during this period, Guyana only received about US$5.4 BILLION, while the contractors grabbed close to US$26 BILLION during the same period for costs.”
  1. FACT:    PSA 2016 ( President Granger 2% Royalty) is the SAME as PSA 1999 ( President Janet Jagan 1% Royalty).
  2.      FACT: Article 32-1 : PURPOSE is the INITATIVE for RENEGOTIATION
  3.       FACT & OPINIONS: in Guyana & Globally: Currently 3Fs, Families, Friends, and Favorites by a CORRUPT, CROOKED and COMPRIMISED Team in Government.
  4.         FACT: The PPPC since 2020 made NO MATERIAL Improvements to the 2016 PSA they inherited.
  5.        FACT: The 2016 PSA has BLESSED the PPPC, with  approximately USD $5.4 BILLION Dollars (WE are waiting to SEE what BIG PROJECT is there, TO SHOW for THIS MASSIVE WITHDRAWALS, from the Natural Resource Fund (NRF).
