The launch event is scheduled at the historic Umana Yana in Georgetown.
Amerindian Heritage Month has long been a staple in our nation’s cultural calendar, offering an opportunity for all Guyanese to engage with and appreciate the diverse and vibrant cultures that form the bedrock of our Amerindian communities. This year, the Ministry has promised a series of fresh and innovative events aimed at not only celebrating but also preserving and promoting the invaluable heritage of our Indigenous peoples.
During the launch, the Ministry will reveal the official theme for this year’s celebrations, a theme that is expected to resonate deeply with the Indigenous communities while also engaging the wider public.
