Why are PPP individuals of Integrity being Sidelined?

Dear Editor,

Will Seeraj Dharamkumar be replaced by Nigel Dharamlall at Rice Producers Association? Seeraj, Dr Vindya, Dr Frank Anthony, Dr Vishwa Mahadeo, and others of integrity are being sidelined. A crooked election for the 35 Member Central Committee gave them a low ranking. Anil Nandlall also was given a low rank in the fraudulent vote as were others, all cheated. They are all good, decent people who worked extremely hard to combat the electoral fraud of 2020. Yet, they are not favored by the party leader. In a free and fair election, they would rank higher, several among the top 10 as opposed to others who occupy those positions. They became victims of electoral fraud in their own party. Worse, they have been silenced and marginalized or made ineffective. If they speak out, they are victimized by the leader; others before them like Navin Chanderpal and his wife Indra were victimized as was Dr Yog Mahadeo and more. The PPP has become a one man operation, an autocracy modeled after Putin. If you don’t cheer the leader, you are not trusted. If you oppose, you suffer fate meted out to many as in Russia.

Clearly, individuals of integrity are not appreciated, welcomed, needed in the PPP. Will Nigel Dharamlall replace Seeraj Dharamkumar as head of RPA? The last decent remnants of integrity have been shunted aside in preference for the corrupt. Honest contractors who gave their all for the PPP have been denied contracts. The corrupt have replaced the honest. Washington is taking note; American policymakers have files on the corrupt. The USA Embassy is urged to cancel visas of the corrupt.

Yours Truly,

Roopchand Sharma
