Dear Editor,

As the PNC/R Congress approaches, delegates are faced with a crucial decision on who should lead the party forward. Among the candidates vying for leadership, Roysdale Forde S.C stands out as a distinguished and commendable choice for the position. Here are several compelling reasons why delegates should strongly consider voting for Roysdale Forde as the next leader of the PNC/R.

One of the most significant attributes that Roysdale Forde brings to the table is his lack of political baggage. In an era where public trust in politicians is at an all-time low, Forde’s clean track record and untarnished reputation set him apart as a beacon of integrity in the political landscape. Delegates can trust that he will lead the party with transparency and accountability and be assured that no cheques would ever be signed blank or without proper documentation.

Roysdale Forde is recognised as a man of his word, with unwavering integrity and respect. His reputation both in the courtroom and outside speaks volumes about his character and commitment to upholding ethical standards. Delegates can be confident that under Forde’s leadership, the values of honesty, integrity, and respect will be upheld within the party and in its interactions with the public.

Throughout his career, Roysdale Forde has consistently demonstrated his dedication to standing by the people and with the people. Let us not forget the teachers’ court case and the Credit Union court case in representing their interests. His advocacy for justice, fairness, and inclusivity underscores his commitment to empowering ordinary citizens and ensuring their voices are heard. Delegates can rest assured that with Forde at the helm, the PNC/R will prioritise the needs and concerns of the people it serves.

I wish to remind our delegates we don’t want leaders who call Guyanese mentally lazy. Those words echo from leaders are not only insulting but also demonstrate a lack of understanding and respect for the people they intend to lead. A leader should inspire, motivate, and uplift their followers, not denigrate them. Such remarks are unacceptable and will be there in our political history and it is not aligned with the values of a true leader.

Roysdale Forde’s understanding of the party’s dynamics and his proven track record of problem-solving make him the ideal candidate to lead the PNC/R. With a clear vision and concrete solutions in mind, Forde is well-equipped to address the challenges facing party groups and members, steering them towards a prosperous and united future.

Delegates, you can trust in Forde’s leadership to navigate complex issues and deliver tangible results for the party and its members including the youths.

Furthermore, if a leader has not accomplished anything significant in the party for the past two years, it raises serious concerns about their commitment, effectiveness, and ability to lead. Delegates must ask themselves what achievements have been made under the present leadership and what positive impact their families and lives have gained.

Roysdale Forde S.C. emerges as a compelling choice for delegates at the upcoming PNC/R Congress to consider for the leadership of the party. With his impeccable reputation, unwavering integrity, commitment to the people, and track record of solutions-oriented leadership, Forde embodies the qualities needed to lead the PNC/R to new heights.

My dear delegates, I urged you to cast your vote in favour of Roysdale Forde, a leader who embodies the values and vision needed to propel the PNC/R towards a brighter future. Vote Roysdale Forde for a stronger, more united PNC/R!

Yours truly,

Pt.Ubraj Narine, JP, COA
