Indian Arrival Day: manifest that same boldness

By Ubraj Narine

Congratulations to Faaiq Mohammed, Mayor of the Chaguanas Municipal/Borough Corporation, Trinidad and Tobago on his election to a second term! This is a testament to the trust and confidence that the people of Chaguanas have in your leadership and dedication to public service.

I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with him during our overseas trips at conferences, and it was evident that he is a true champion for the people and their needs. His commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and progress has undoubtedly fueled the growth and development of Chaguanas.

I would also like to extend a special thanks to the outgoing Mayor Alderman Joel Martinez, former Mayor of Port of Spain, TrinidadandTobago. His distinguished service at all levels deserves admiration and recognition. Mayor Martinez’s tireless efforts to enhance the lives of the people of Port of Spain have left an indelible mark.

As we move forward, I am confident that both Mayor Faaiq Mohammed and Mayor Joel Martinez possess invaluable experiences and skills that will continue to impact your communities positively. Your friendship and shared commitment to making a difference are truly inspiring.

On behalf of myself and the people of Guyana , I congratulate both of them on their remarkable achievements and wish them continued success in their future endeavours. May our paths cross once again, as strong alliances and dedicated individuals like yourselves will always find ways to collaborate and make a significant impact.

Warm regards,

Pt .Ubraj Narine,JP, COA
