China slams U.S. order on foreign investment reviews

China is gravely concerned about the U.S. issuing order on foreign investment reviews and reserves the right to take countermeasures, a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.

China hopes that the U.S. will respect the laws of market economy and the principle of fair competition, the spokesperson added.
