Release. Mayor Pt. Ubraj Narine, a renowned political figure and visionary leader, is currently on a groundbreaking visit to India for the esteemed Know India Program. The event serves as a catalyst for fostering cultural understanding, diplomatic relations, and economic collaborations between 15 participating countries. Amidst his visit, Pt. Ubraj Narine has engaged with prominent Indian institutions, including Pradhanmantri Sanghralya, Indian Institute of Technology, Niti Aayog, the Ministry of External Affairs, and Invest India.
The Know India Programme, an initiative by the Indian government, invites individuals of Indian origin from across the globe to experience and connect with their roots. It aims to strengthen the bonds between the Indian diaspora and their ancestral land while ensuring mutual growth and development among participating countries. Pt. Ubraj Narine’s presence in this program marks a significant step towards enhancing global relations and promoting cooperation on an international level.
During his visit, Pt. Ubraj Narine had the privilege to explore the prominent Pradhanmantri Sanghralya, a national museum located in New Delhi. This enriching experience allowed him to unravel India’s diverse history, gaining insights into the nation’s significant milestones, struggles, and achievements over time.The delegation’s visit to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology offered a glimpse into India’s technological advancements, paving the way for potential collaborations in the fields of innovation and education.
Furthermore, Pt. Ubraj Narine engaged in meaningful discussions at Niti Aayog, the government think-tank responsible for policy planning and implementation. Collaborating with key stakeholders, Pt. Ubraj Narine exchanged ideas on sustainable development, economic growth, and social welfare initiatives, with a focus on showcasing his expertise and contributing to the nation’s progress.
The Ministry of External Affairs also received Pt.Ubraj Narine and delegation providing a platform to discuss India’s external affairs and bilateral relations, regional cooperation, and cultural exchange programs between India and other countries. This interactive session aimed to foster a greater understanding and synergy between the participating delegations whilst strengthening diplomatic ties at both governmental and grassroots levels.
Moreover, Pt. Ubraj Narine seized the opportunity to connect with Invest India, the national investment promotion and facilitation agency. Exploring avenues of economic partnerships and investment opportunities, he emphasized the importance of cross-border collaborations, which will undoubtedly create a conducive environment for businesses to thrive and contribute to the global economy.
