The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) has announced the launch of the sixth round of the Caribbean Food Security and Livelihoods Survey. The survey aims to inform analysis and decision-making of governments in the region, building on the data collected in the previous five rounds on the impact of the cost-of-living crisis and the effect of natural hazards on food security and livelihoods of Caribbean people.

In a report CARICOM stated the World Food Programme (WFP) Caribbean Multi-Country Office is working along with the regional body, the Caribbean Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in conducting the Caribbean Food Security and Livelihoods Impact Survey of May 2023.

The survey is open to persons in all CARICOM Member States and Associate Members, as well as Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten between the dates of 10 and 18 May 2023. It is available in English, French, Dutch, Papiamentu and Spanish, and can be accessed at: https://arcg.is/0KCnHa
