United States Ambassador Ms. Sarah Ann Lynch is preparing to wrap up her tour of duty in Guyana. A reliable source has informed Village Voice News the Ambassador will shortly be replaced.

Lynch was confirmed by the United States Senate on 2nd January 2019. On 7th January 2019 she was sworn in as Ambassador to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana and presented her credentials to President David Granger on 13th March 2019.
