Contestants of the Miss Bartica Regatta Pageant 2023 paid a courtesy call to the PNCR Secretariat, Congress Place, Sophia Wednesday morning, 5th April. They were welcomed by Administrator of the Secretariat Ms. Hazel Pyle-Lewis and Public Relations Officer Ms. Shaneika Haynes.
The Bartica Regatta which has returned this year after two-years due to the COVID-19 pandemic will see eight contestants vying for the position. The Party representatives wished them well and encouraged them to be confident and to boost their efforts towards whatever endeavors they undertake after the pageant.
The event, billed as Coronation Night, will be held Easter Monday, April 10. The Bartica regatta is the oldest annual regatta in Guyana.
