Kerensa Gravesande-Bart, or Keri as she is commonly known, is a woman of many talents. With over 15 years of experience in business development, quality management, and human resources, Keri has established herself as a thought leader in the world of recruitment and business development.

As the co-founder and CEO of Strategic Recruitment Solutions Inc (SRSGY), Keri has been instrumental in establishing the only stand-alone ISO 9001-2015 and Trace International certified recruitment firm in Guyana, with locations in the USA and Suriname. Keri’s leadership and vision have been crucial in ensuring the company’s overall success, including overseeing risk management, contract negotiations, and human resources.

Keri’s expertise extends beyond the recruitment industry. She is also the co-creator and president of the first Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Guyana, launched in November 2019. This initiative aims to empower women in business and provide them with the resources they need to succeed. Her efforts were recognized in 2018 when she was awarded the first Women in Business Award by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry Guyana.

With her experience in the energy industry, Keri has developed a unique skill set that includes offshore personnel management, training and competence management for offshore personnel, in-transit and landing operations for offshore vessels, and HR and local content strategy development, implementation, and execution. Her international experience includes working in Trinidad, Colombia, and Suriname.

Keri’s commitment to continuous learning is evident in her pursuit of studies in Business Management with Cambridge International University and the Association of Business Executives. She holds an Associate Degree in Business Management with credits in Communications and merits in Human Resources. She also has a professional certification in Leading and Communicating with Emotional Intelligence from Arthur Lok Jack Global School in Business.

Keri’s reputation as a trailblazer in the recruitment and business development industry has led to numerous speaking engagements, including presentations at the Zami Paramaribo and the Association of Women Entrepreneurs Women Business Forum-Lunch and Learn on June 22nd, 2023.
