A fatal accident which occurred on at Long Creek on the Linden Soesdyke highway is being investigated. The accident involved motor car PTT 6945 owned and driven by Darren Henry, age 41, and occupant Sheneka Campayne, 36, both of Wisroc Housing Scheme, Linden.
The accident occurred at about 22:50 hours last Friday on Long Creek Public Road, Soesdyke-Linden Highway, after the driver allegedly lost control of his vehicle, causing it to flip several times.
Reports are that the motor car PTT6945 was speeding along the road in the vicinity of Long Creek when the driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to flip. Henry received injuries to the head and body and was taken out the vehicle in semi-conscious condition while Campayne was taken out of the vehicle in a conscious condition without any injury. Henry succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment.
