GNBS LAUNCHES VERIFICATION SERVICES FOR TINT AND SOUND LEVEL METERS

My fellow Guyanese, today we celebrate our 53rd Birth Anniversary. We acknowledge our endurance, resources, wealth, and passion as people who overcame adversities.
We the land of six races came together to attain our Republic Status. We must honor the hard work of those who have given their services, made sacrifices, and shown resilience so we the Guyanese people can celebrate “Mashramani”.
This is a proud moment to be reminded that the people hold the power and should always reflect on our mistakes and why we should never repeat them.
Today is a day to celebrate strength in Unity, that we seek to better our country and to improve the lives of our Citizens. Our economy is growing, our wealth in resources has increased and our country need not forget that it all belongs to the Guyanese people.
Our celebration as the Republic of Guyana should mimic that of our motto “one people, one nation, one destiny”. This is the motto this country was built on, a multicultural society that promotes unity in diversity and ensures inclusivity for all. Many seek to convey that we are “One Guyana”. “One Guyana” can be interpreted in many ways that can be a sign of dictatorship. This “One Guyana” does not ensure that we are inclusive as a people, as six races with the objective that the lives of our Citizens shall come first.
Our rich cultural diversity transcends all regions, hinterlands, coastlands, rivers, and plains. It is our Citizens who made this country and it is our Citizens who are suffering today. Today only a group of people reap the benefits of our newly proclaimed wealth and resources, while we witness much suffering in various areas of our country.
The beneficiaries of this country’s Resources and wealth have always been the Guyanese people, it is their birthright. All Guyanese must be involved in all sectors as we hold to our commitment to national unity. We must be united as one people, one nation with one destiny to push forward for our country’s prosperity.
To be successful as a nation We must work together to collaborate in innovative ways to secure the growth and development of our country, our children, and our economy. Let us walk in our legacy to strengthen bonds and to be proud as a people.
I extend my best wishes to all Guyanese in celebration of our 53rd Republic Anniversary. Walk in safety, strength, and unity.
Happy Mashramani!
