Upon being arrested Sawh told police that he had ingested poison.

Sawh reportedly told police that he committed the act after an argument with the victim. He said that the victim called and asked him for money, he went to her home after the call, however, he didn’t have enough money and an argument ensued.

Police have said that Sawh had brought the alleged murder weapon to the crime scene.

The GPF said that the accused appeared on February 2 at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court where the charge was read to him. He was not required to plead.

Magistrate Fabayo Azore remanded Sawh to prison. His next court appearance is set for March 14.
