Opposition paid courtesy call on High Commissioner of India to Guyana

A one-stop hub changing how Region Three accesses govt services

Today a team comprising of Shadow Minister of Local Government and Regional Development, Hon. Ganesh Mahipaul MP, Shadow Minister of Education, Hon. Natasha Singh-Lewis M.P., Shadow Minister of Human Services and Social Security, Hon. Dineshwar Jaiprashad M.P., Regional Chairman Demerara-Mahaica Regional Democratic Council Region No.4, Mr. Daniel Seeram J.P. and the Mayor of Georgetown, His Worship The Mayor, Councillor Ubraj Narine J.P. paid a courtesy call on the High Commissioner of India to Guyana, H.E. Dr. K. J. Srinivasa who was accompanied by the Indian High Commission’s First Secretary, Mr Mukesh Kaushik.
Among the many topics discussed were cultural development, training, education, health, urban, social and economic development.
The deliberations were fruitful and promising on both sides, with an intention to frequently engage and discuss matters of mutual interest. It is the desire of all that were present to foster great continued relations for the betterment of both countries.
