PPPC votes decreased over 4 election cycles and suddenly increased in 2015 while party still controlled GECOM

Dear Editor,
Between 1997 and 2011, while the PPPC were still winning relatively fair elections, they were becoming increasingly alarmed that they were rapidly losing votes. (See figure below). If this trend continued, their era of political domination would soon be over and for all of the foreseeable future.

In 2015, while the PPP were still largely influencing the work of GECOM, there was a massive increase in registrations that were unlike any of the preceding years.  Editor, this massive increase, to many looks like an attempt to rig the 2015 elections.
