LETTER TO BM SOAT- AFRAZ MOHAMED .pdf

Attorney-at-law, Mr. Eusi Anderson, has written to Mr. Afraz Mohamed of BM SOAT, on behalf of  his client, Intella Visions Investors Trust LLC, seeking to have outstanding payment for fuel amicably resolved, failing which the matter will be reported to the United States (U.S) authorities and will trigger an international investigation “unlike anything you can imagine.”

The lawyer’s letter, dated 29th August, instructed Mohamed to make “immediate payment within 48 hours of this letter by Manager’s Cheque to Dorwain Bess of the sum of GYD$170 million less the payment of GYD$25 million paid on this account by Afraz Mohamed on May of 2022. “

Mohamed is advised that on 5th April, 2022 Intella “sent by way of shipment the sum of GYD $170 million in low sulfur D2 Diesel to you. The specific instruction was that you ought not to offload the fuel from the vessel without their consent. It is now clear that on the 13th April, 2022 you violated that agreement by bleeding the MV Nelly 2 of all her cargo when she was moored at the Friendship EBD Wharf.”

The businessman is further advised, among other things, that Intella Visions Investors, which is a  “US incorporated entity will be obligated to report the fraudulent transaction herein to the relevant US authorities which will trigger an international investigation. The consequences of same are unlike anything you can imagine.”

The Invoice dated 5 April 2022 is also enclosed. See below for text of letter and invoice.
