On Wednesday May 18th, STEMGuyana launched an expanded “home” version of the learning pods program which allows students across the country to register, log in and work on technology integrated short lessons in Maths, English and Science. These lessons for 1st through 10th grade students were created based on the Ministry of Education’s curriculum and are made available free of charge for all Guyanese children. “The idea is to encourage students to log in and learn the topic before they learn it in school. We are confident that this method will improve academic outcomes for children, allow them to more effectively grasp the subject

matter and improve their self confidence as they experience personal academic improvement in school”, stated STEMGuyana co-founder Caleb Christian. For more information about the “Home” Learning Pods program, email stemguyana@gmail.com.
