The accident claimed the life of 23-year-old Dave Taylor of Laluni Creek, Linden/Soesdyke Highway.

Police said in a press release that according to reports, the now deceased was driving motorcycle # CL3900 along with pillion rider 17-year-old Vishal Bahadur, west along the southern side of the said road at a fast rate of speed when he entered a pothole with water, which caused him to lose control of the cycle.
