Man held at backtrack crossing with shotguns, ammo

Ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) along with members Joint Support Team conducted operations at a “backtrack” area in Springlands, Berbice.
During this operation two (2) 12 gauge shotguns along with a quantity of ammunition – twelve (12) cartridges and fifty (50) . 22 rounds were discovered on a Surinamese national – Benjamin Juda Ibrahim Koningferander 38 years old. He was turned over to the Guyana Police Force for further investigations.
