Police retrieved the body, which was positively identified by boat captain Edwin Oneil and other crew members, who had reported him missing days prior. The body was examined and what appears to be marks of violence were seen on the right side of his neck and right eye. The body is presently at Mabaruma Public Hospital mortuary awaiting PME.
According to the police, Mohamed was reported missing last Tuesday by Oneil, the boat captain of Lady URANIA. Mohamed was a crew member.

“It was reported by the said boat captain that Mohamed was last seen in the company of two female Venezuelan nationals, two nights prior to the missing report being made,” the police said.
