Teen charged for murder Sophia schoolboy

A sixteen-year-old boy was on Friday charged with the murder of Sophia schoolboy, Anthony Court.

The teenager was then charged under Section 100 (1) (C) (i) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act Chapter 8:01.

He appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Ms. George where he was not required to plea and has been remanded to the Sophia Juvenile Holding Centre.

The matter has been  postponed to the 12th May, 2021.

Cort was killed during a robbery on March 11, 2021 at C Field Sophia.
