Chinese national, business partner robbed at gunpoint

A Chinese national and his business partner, both of Charity, Essequibo Coast (Region Two) were on Sunday robbed by two unidentifiable masked men of two iPhones valued $120,000 each and $80,000 cash.

The victims have been identified as 41-year-old Steve Sue and 37-year-old Yu Rong Cao.
According to reports, at about 11:00h, two suspects, one wearing a face mask and the other a blue bandana covering his face with a cap and hoodie, walked into the duo’s restaurant demanding their valuables.

One of the suspects held a black handgun to the victims while demanding their valuables.
The victims were then assaulted after which the suspects collected their items and made good their escape.

The robbery was captured on CCTV located in the camera.
Investigations are ongoing.
