Man shot to death at Guyhoc Park

A man died on Sunday morning after being shot by persons unknown Saturday evening at Guyhoc Park, Georgetown.

Police in a release they are investigating an alleged discharging of a loaded firearm with intent committed on Shawn Robinson a 28-year-old of Guyhoc Park Squatting Area Saturday evening.

According to the police about 18:50hrs Saturday an anonymous caller contacted the East La Penitance Police Station and reported that there was an alleged shooting in an alleyway located at Guyhoc Park, Georgetown at about 18:36 hrs on 20 and the victim left for Georgetown Public Hospital.

Acting upon the information received, a party of police went to Georgetown Public Hospital to interview the victim but at that time, the victim was seeking medical attention from a gunshot injury to the left side chest.

His condition was regarded as serious, which he succumbed to on Sunday.
Investigations are still ongoing.
