However, the charity bout ended in controversy after Tyson dominated the eight-round fight but didn’t see the results on the scorecards.

“I’m good with that. The crowd was happy with that,” Tyson said after the bout, according to Lance Pugmire of The Athletic.

Jones acknowledged that he felt Tyson’s power throughout the night’s co-feature event.

“When he hits you, everything hurts,” Jones said. “I thought I did enough from the outside. The body shots took a toll.”

Tyson, 54, hadn’t participated in a professional boxing match since 2005. Both fighters were guaranteed $1 million from the bout, according to Marc Raimondi of ESPN.

Tyson said leading up to the fight that he would donate his purse to charity.
