Police investigating murder of Meten-Meer-Zorg man

A Meten-Meer-Zorg, West Coast Demerara (WCD) man was on Sunday killed in the community.
Dead is 20-year-old Keron Williams of Meten-Meer-Zorg’s Ocean Garden. Williams was reportedly imbibing with the suspect known only as “Grasie” in the community at about 17:15h.

According to a police report, Williams was discovered with injuries to his left shoulder about half hour after he was seen with the suspect. He was taken to the Leonora Cottage Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

“Persons were questioned in relation to the incident, but no useful information was received, the suspect who is still at large is being sought by the police,” Police said in a statement.

Investigations are continuing.
